Are you dreaming of a cheap and cheerful getaway? Why not try Bali? The island of gods! It’s only a hop, skip, and a jump from Australia, and you’ll get to taste some mouth-watering Indonesian cuisine. There’s a lot to do in Bali. I know because I just got back! I even attended a Balinese cooking class. And guess what? I share all my knowledge of Bali on Noel Anderson’s 15 Mins of Fame podcast. Trust me, my hot tips (like going to Potato Head Club in Seminyak) are guaranteed fun.
This podcast, “Love, Bali and Gado Gado: A Spicy Take on Island Life,” explores themes around Balinese cooking, Double Six Beach, drag bars, the Monkey Forest in Ubud … and The Real Housewives of Melbourne.

A few weeks ago, a friend confessed that he didn’t understand the Voice Referendum. It got me thinking, which is always dangerous…but what could I do to help people who were a little confused by the Voice to Parliament, like my friend?
This short podcast aims to present a balanced perspective, highlighting both the pros and cons of the argument while keeping the information simple and factual.
Understanding the Voice Referendum is crucial for shaping the future of our nation and promoting inclusivity and equality.
I hope this podcast helps shed some light on the Voice Referendum and its significance.

Once Upon A Diva Podcast (feat. Helen Walsh)
Thursday Aug 17, 2023
Thursday Aug 17, 2023
How does an Australian singer from country Queensland become a global diva? In the 90s, I remember standing off camera and watching a young girl perform on Brisbane morning television. She was in the studio to help publicise a musical I was directing as she was the leading lady. Her name is Helen Walsh.
Since then Helen has sung on stages in London’s West End and around the globe. Performing in Cats, Mamma Mia, Les Misérables (7 times) and Wicked. She is currently touring Australia in Mary Poppins playing the role of Mrs Brill. I invited Helen on to chat about her showbiz travels and life as a global diva.
Once Upon A Diva - Hosted by Noel Anderson and featuring Helen Walsh.
This podcast contains themes around musical theatre, inner beauty and self-belief. Be warned, you’ll start singing show tunes after listening.

Beyond Priscilla Podcast featuring Gavin Roach
Thursday Jun 29, 2023
Thursday Jun 29, 2023
A lot’s changed since ‘The Boys in the Band’ first shocked Broadway audiences in 1968. The play’s bawdy dialogue and its queer characters dragged theatregoers out of the closet kicking and screaming. Angels in America, Bent, and even Aussie musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert owe much to ‘The Boys in the Band.' It put homosexuality centre stage.
This brings me to Melbourne based-playwright, director and performer, Gavin Roach. The all-rounder has created many LGBTQ characters since being bullied as a child and staged theatre productions around Australia and New Zealand. Confessions of a Grindr Addict, I Can't Say The F Word and Beyond Pricilla, just to name a few. I thought the impresario would be terrific chatting about the business of creating adult theatre.
Beyond Priscilla Podcast - Hosted by Noel Anderson
This podcast addresses topics such as bullying, nudity in theatre, queer culture, trauma porn and sexuality.

Flying Solo Podcast
Sunday Jun 04, 2023
Sunday Jun 04, 2023
I recently had to isolate and test for Covid. I decided to make the most of the situation and record a podcast. But what would I talk about? I’ve often found myself “flying solo,” which has its challenges, as there’s no one around to pick you up if you fall down.
Armed with my iPhone and a pick-a-box of podcast ideas, in this episode, I chat about travel anxiety, bad bosses (we’ve all had one), my no-pet policy, and why everyone who’s “single” deserves a bloody good fantasy! Sit back and push play. Tonight this guy is “Flying Solo!”
Flying Solo Podcast is hosted by Noel Anderson
This podcast contains themes around writing and anxiety, pets and acting, getting drunk and getting laid.

This Sucks Podcast with Filmmaker Cameron A. Mitchell
Wednesday Apr 26, 2023
Wednesday Apr 26, 2023
A few months back, I was contacted by Tequila Mockingbird Productions in Los Angeles about a film called This Sucks. They wondered if I would like to interview writer/director Cameron A. Mitchell for my podcast. Long story short, I was sent a preview link and watched the movie while eating a Vegemite sandwich. I liked This Sucks and thought it was very socially aware for a film shot in 9 days.
We’re in a global pandemic, no one has a narrative arc!
This Sucks is a black comedy set during Christmas 2020. Chronically depressed Jess, her LGBTQ best friend, chatty roommate, and ex-boyfriend struggle to survive COVID quarantine. Each character has a red-faced demon that follows them, a physical manifestation of their inner depression.
This podcast contains themes around filmmaking, depression, racism, and the importance of “found families.”

Filmmaker Saara Lamberg and the Risky Cinema Podcast
Wednesday Mar 08, 2023
Wednesday Mar 08, 2023
Saara Lamberg steps on stage. “I’d like to be able to diversify Australian cinema,” she tells the audience at the Melbourne Made Film Festival. The fiercely independent filmmaker is a unique figure in Aussie cinema, a female writer/director/producer in an industry mostly dominated by men. But what intrigues me is that she also takes the lead role in her films. This includes the Westermarck Effect her most recent film. A story about a woman who falls in love with her biological son. It's risky cinema. But to quote David Lynch, “Don’t make a film if it can’t be the film you want to make! It will kill you.”
In this podcast, Saara Lamberg and I chat about her journey from Helsinki to becoming Melbourne’s best-known indie filmmaker. We also chat about “attraction” and why Saara doesn’t care much about gender!

Kelly Cupo and Audrey Hepburn Consider Their Assets
Friday Feb 03, 2023
Friday Feb 03, 2023
Flashback – Church Street sometime in 2015. I’m holding auditions for a new Australian musical called Audrey Hepburn and I Consider Our Assets. In walks Kelly Cupo, her hair pulled back and she’s wearing a tight black skirt. I thought her smile infectious and she lit up the room when she sang. I knew immediately she was my leading lady, Liz O’Sullivan. A young woman who in her therapy sessions imagines she’s talking to her idol, Audrey Hepburn.
In the podcast, Kelly Cupo chats about singing in Antarctica, mental health, turning 40 and why she’s still hopelessly devoted to silver screen star Audrey Hepburn.
Contains themes around mental health and suicide.

Happy Every After Podcast
Tuesday Jan 10, 2023
Tuesday Jan 10, 2023
“Deep sadness sits at the base of my belly always.”
Ros Lewis is a Melbourne writer and psychologist, originally from the land of Aotearoa (New Zealand). She writes poetry, writes a blog (www.amiworthit.com), and recently completed a memoir. She’d probably describe herself as a mother, a hippie, a feminist and a survivor. Recently I attended a reading of a play Ros was working on called ‘Happy Ever After.’ An expanded version of a piece she’d written for a show I created in 2017 called ‘Love Kills.’ Using poetry, narrative and humour, ‘Happy Ever After’ tells the true story of a woman’s search for love, only to be subjected to the trauma of intimate partner violence. I enjoyed the reading and asked Ros if she’d join me on my podcast channel. Happily, she answered, “Yes. When did you want to record it?”
This podcast contains themes of trauma and domestic violence.
